Steve has built his career by focusing on a continued interest in leadership, organisational development, and helping people achieve their potential in business in the UK and internationally.
Steve has over 25 years’ experience in leadership, learning and OD roles in a broad variety of sectors, where adapting to cultural needs to create an effective fit has been a key requirement. He has an MSc in training and performance management and has led a global Organisation and Leadership Development function, delivering integrated projects for a US company. Steve has developed Leadership and OD strategy in both the public and private sector, and his work has been recognized by SHRM with a Human Capital Leadership Award. Steve has been a speaker at international conferences and a member of academic working groups studying the impact of creativity in organisations, and maintains partnerships with academic and practitioner networks to ensure effective, consistent delivery of results.
Steve provides coaching, facilitation, design and delivery of leadership and organisational development solutions to clients at all organisational levels, and contributes to future leadership through visiting lecturing work at two UK universities. In 2015 Steve published his first book; ‘How the River Flows – Discovering Intuitive Leadership’.
Steve is qualified to use a range of psychometric and development tools including MBTI for teams and individuals, the MTR-I team role indicator, JCA Emotional Intelligence instrument, Lominger Competence framework and others.
