Helen has worked at Blackwell Adventure since its launch 10 years ago and has been involved in its development right from the beginning.
She started her career in retail , with customer service as her main focus. Starting out as an apprentice for Burton Menswear she worked her way up and went on to manage her own shops. Following that she went on to work for T-Mobile, becoming a trouble shooter for failing branches across the UK. Helen has also spent five years in the industrial sector, supplying fasteners to many flagship businesses, mainly in the automotive and manufacturing areas.
20 years of experience has given her a true understanding of how to meet customers needs and expectations and an appreciation of how the needs within different sectors can vary. Helen’s passion is to deliver an outstanding product to customers, while working to underpin Blackwell Adventure’s charitable work, ensuring it can continue to provide outdoor activities and inspiration to the 20,000 young people that visit the centre each year.
